Mini Post: THE ULTIMATE POST OF BIRTHDAYNESS

Happy Birthday to everyone who has a birthday today. I know like .00000000000002 percent of people who have birthdays today and tomorrow, so I’m gonna stick with honoring them today.

Happy Birthday Hazel and Doc!

I know Hazel and Doc’s birthdays aren’t on the same day but I thought I could mush your birthday posts together to create the Ultimate Post Of Birthdayness

After the birthday post I am going to show you the decorations we put up for Hazel and Doc’s birthdays!

Happy Birthday Hazel!

Hazel, you are so kind and funny. I can’t believe you are 11 years old today! At 11:02 AM, 11 years ago, you came into this world and lit up out hearts and- Yeah, okay, I don’t like the mushy stuff either. Anywho, I hope you have fun today. Love, Mom and Dad’s Favorite.

(Hehe, just kidding.)

Happy Birthday Doc, My favorite Snorty Patorty (Snore-TEE Pa-TOR-tee)!

Doc, you can’t understand this yet, but today you are three. In your mind, a birthday probably just means cake and that you can do whatever you want, including yell at your sisters, splash half of the bath water at your sisters, kick your sisters, blame stuff on your sisters, and occasionally laugh when you fart. All of these are your favorite things to do. You are smart, funny, VERY SILLY, and most of all, you are a Snorty Patorty. No matter how many times you deny it, you will always snort when you laugh, therefore I’m deeming you a top-notch, first-class, A+ Snorty Patorty.

Onto decorations and (most importantly) cake!

Last night my parents and I hatched a clever plan. (Cue mission impossible music!)

All throughout dinner I said how tired I was (keep in mind that Hazel sleeps like a rock and Doc can’t get out of his crib by himself), so by the time that we had watched one episode of a tv show I was pretty much “asleep”. My mom said that I had to go to bed and Hazel reluctantly followed. I did my bedtime routine and got in bed checking to make sure that Hazel’s door was closed before going into my room. I then text mom to tell her I would come down soon and I waited about five minutes before turning off my lights, putting pillows under my blanket to make it look like I was sleeping under the covers…

…and creeping downstairs where my mom and dad were blowing up balloons and had a tv show and the vacuum cleaner on to drown out the noise of the balloon-blower-upper-thingy. My Mom also had someone come to our front yard and add two birthday signs to our lawn. While my Mom and Dad tidied up the house, I baked gluten-free cupcakes into gluten-free ice cream cones to make Hazel’s birthday treat. (I am making Doc’s treat tomorrow.) The house was really warm and all through the night I could hear balloons pop, but thankfully, only about five popped in all and it wasn’t very noticeable. At 6:30 AM the next day, I woke up early to dye frosting and decorate the cupcakes. Doc enjoyed the cupcakes A LOT. Seriously, I think that today going to be in the highlights of 2021 for him. These are the photos of the cupcakes and the balloon arch and decor that we made:

Doc’s Birthday Sign! (We told the sign person that Doc LOVES Halloween and Pirates.)
Hazel’s Birthday Sign (What would any 11 year old girl like? Unicorns, Unicorns, and more Unicorns.)
Doc and Mom eating a cupcake!
The Unicorn cupcake-in-a-cone that I made for hazel!
Me making the balloon arch at about 11:30 PM. I am already half asleep! 🙂
The Balloon Arch in all of it’s Balloon Archy Glory!

I hope you liked today’s post!
